Everything, and I mean everything, can be left behind at some point upon this journey of life. Endangered species do not wonder what to pack as they strive to stay alive. And so it is that we reach the precipice on the edge of one era, and yet fear to jump into the next.
It is our loss of connection that brings the trepidation now, for we have lost touch with much of what makes us human. Even now, as the hungry mouth of change snaps at our heels, we still try to grasp the material things that we associate with comfort and security. Beware of false hope, for it offers nothing of any value.
The spindly legs of the new-born calf offer more in the way of hope, for they at least have an innate connection to a survival instinct. Bring not your meaning of life down to any material level; attack it instead with the powerful impulse of action, even if based upon fear related to survival, for true fear will keep you alive; manufactured fear will not!
Your only hope at this time is to reconnect to the impulse that helped you draw your first breath and the desire to maintain it, for there can be no other thing worth fighting for at this time, except your divine spark that connects your physical body with all of existence. Isn't that worth something to you?
The reason you need bring nothing with you is because one by one, as you join with others, you will behold a magnificent increase of light upon this earth, as you all hold your spark aloft to light the way for those who follow and yet hesitate.
Much meandering will prevail as you procrastinate upon this precipice, but the sooner you take the courage to leap, the sooner you will step willingly into the agreeable new sovereign human who no longer fears his own responsibility.
It is only the fear of being responsible for ourselves that keeps us asleep.
